Welcome.  Review Office365 > Teams - Assignment 1 > Bio Assignment.  Laptops - Cart 2 - Re-Intro Teams - Time to complete Bio Assignment.  Intro to Unit 1 - Forging Civilization 500-1200 CE -  Note:  CE stands for “ common (or current) era ”, while BCE stands for “before the common (or current) era”. These abbreviations have a shorter history than  BC and AD , although they still date from at least the early 1700s. Note:  The use of CE in Jewish scholarship was historically motivated by the desire to avoid the implicit "Our Lord" in the abbreviation AD . Although other aspects of dating systems are based in Christian origins, AD is a direct reference to Jesus as Lord. Chapter 1 - Europe's Early Middle Ages - Review Page 2 Text - Chapter Outcomes.
